Dr. Courtney Gowin is a West Texas native growing up in Abilene, Texas.  She discovered the healing power of chiropractic through a college basketball injury that ended up being the biggest blessing and paved the way for her to go to chiropractic school after finishing her studies at Abilene Christian University.

During her time at Parker University, Dr. Gowin fell in love with not only the body's capacity to heal naturally, but also to birth naturally. She is a single mother to three sweet girls, Amelia Rose, Capri Nicole, and Luna Lou all born naturally at home.

After two years in practice Dr. Gowin saw the void in the birth community of actual community, and through a lot of prayer and hard work, created the NEST.  Being able to practice alongside a midwife, massage therapists, and many other birth workers, Dr. Gowin has been able to support and empower thousands of women during their birth experience and beyond. Over ten years in practice, Dr. Gowin has developed specialized healing protocols for newborns and infants.  Her specialty is complex newborn cases to help babies thrive.

Dr. Gowin has also written one of the largest natural pregnancy and birth books, Mother.

She also runs a global retreat company, Wanderlearn.  That hosts wellness + healing retreats around the world.

Along with running Free to Be Chiropractic, Dr. Gowin also teaches and speaks to chiropractors around the world.  She holds a special passion for mentoring students and teaching this beautiful art of prenatal chiropractic.

Meet Dr. Jon Mark, an Arkansas native turned Dallas resident with a passion to serve families through chiropractic care. Raised in a family of healthcare providers, he felt a calling to help others early on. While uncertain about the specific path, he trusted the direction God was leading him.

During college, Dr. Jon Mark worked as a physical therapist tech and volunteered with the Rock Steady Boxing program for Parkinson’s Disease. These experiences fueled his interest in holistic care, inspiring him to become a prenatal and family-based chiropractor. Dedicated to family wellness, he also has a heart for individuals with neurological dysfunctions.

Graduating from Parker University and simultaneously working on a Master in Business Administration, Dr. Jon Mark became Webster Certified with ICPA. Throughout this journey, he also proudly became an uncle of four nieces and a nephew.

Outside of practice, you might find Dr. JM enjoying Cedar Ridge trails with his dog Oakley, being unnecessarily competitive in community sport competitions around the metroplex, or savoring an iced mocha at a local coffee shop.

Dr. BreAnn Hoffman DiFrancesco is a graduate from Parker College of Chiropractic. Dr. Bree grew up in the beautiful state of Utah, but always knew she wanted to end up in Texas. She spent her youth and high school years competing in the great sport of rodeo. The events she competed in were barrel racing, pole bending, and breakaway roping. Dr. Bree, and her horse, received their very first Chiropractic adjustments at a high school rodeo from a competitor’s father who was a Chiropractor. This was the beginning of her chiropractic journey.

Dr. Bree graduated with her BS in Exercise and Sport Science from Weber State University in 2018 (Go Wildcats!). She made the move to Dallas in August of 2019, and hasn’t looked back since.

Family is everything to Dr. Bree. She has one older brother, a wonderful sister-in-law, and extremely supportive parents. Although Dr. Bree and Dr. Alex don’t have kids yet, she is extremely passionate about helping families thrive and live their best lives!
